I think it is because of talking in a new environment with people you don't really know or maybe I'm just not confident in presenting myself.

I wasn't nervous but its just that there was someone in there that I didnt feel comfortable with.

I was part of the United Nations and then I had this sort of problem (nervous wreck) when I was representing Lebanon. But later on I gained confidence.

If you asked us to do that again after a while, I'm sure everyone won't have problems with it anymore :D

I was nervous becuaseam not used to being on the spot but I realized that its not that bad. And I suppose it will go away with time and exposure

i was not nervous at all because from the beginning i ensured that all my classmates are my aquintances. this made it easy for me to stand in front of them.

I was not really nervous because most of my classmates were not new faces to me,i have met them at the orientation,so i have been with them for four days and i was bold enough to stand up and introduce myself to them again.

Nervousness its my sickness from birth.I don't know if people feel the way i feel..I guess the nervousnes was caused by speaking in front of my new classmates.Trust me it scares when u stand in front of new faces, trying to think of what they thinking of u

If u feel yourself getting nervous, quite often u can simply chase it down by taking a good look at it.I will often ask "why am i nervous?" I just take a deep breath n stay focused. Then, I feel more comfortable n less nervous.

Nervousness does not help. The rhapsody for nervousness is just to blast and forget about those around you but bear in mind someone is listening to your speech. This is why i was not nervous and i even used my mother tongue as an introduction, this is another way of releaving your self, Just simple as 1,2,3

Actually, sometimes people gets nervous although they used to talk in front of a lot of audiences . Why? I think because deep inside thier heart they feel scared. But why they were scared? This lead back to themselves. They are not prepared in controling the audience, handling pressure and they do not have mind set. That is my opinions.
